This week Congress will consider legislation aimed at improving the development of advanced vehicles. This got me thinking of the Chevrolet Volt and just what a remarkable breakthrough in sustainable human mobility it is.
I had a little free time last night so I decided to pay homage to the Chevy Volt. I’m not an advertising person nor am I a wizard with photo programs (see goofy header above). If it gives you any indication of my ability, I used PowerPoint to create the photos below. I was also in a bit of a hurry (read falling asleep) and still getting used to the no-right-click world of Apple.
I’m still hopeful that we’ll see my TV spot idea playout too….a Chevy Volt picking up a driver stranded by his/her electric-only vehicle. Of course the Volt driver will be played by a super badass celeb. The guy in the other car would be cast as more of Bieber-meets-Steve Jobs. For now it seems like the folks at GM are playing nice in their Volt advertising. Hopefully the future holds a darker shade of green for the General’s ad agency.
The photos below are the property of Chevrolet and were pulled from their corporate website. The Chevrolet and the Volt names are property of General Motors. These photos/ads do not consitutate endorsement.
